Content
Content must follow wikipedia terms of use.
Contributors who repeatedly post copyrighted material despite warnings will be dumped.
Contribution
People can contribute by writing and/or editing articles and/or creating artwork. People can also contribute by developing stuff which other people write about.
People can also offer to help administer the site.
Governance
For decision involving a choice between options, the decision will be made by range voting from 0 to 99.
For decisions involving a quantity, the quantity will be the median of the votes.
To ensure that there is no possibility of online ballot fraud, all online votes will be public.
License
The default license for content is the wikipedia Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License.
If an image comes from the public domain, its license would be public domain.
Registration
To get an account, send an email to perez_enrique <shift two symbol> yahoo.com.
If your contributions online have been seen, you will get an account. If you haven't contributed somewhere before, then include your first article or edit or artwork.
When registering, please also indicate if you want a share of revenue and/or you are willing to help administer and/or you are willing to serve on juries.
Revenue
The current source of revenue is text ads. To get the ball rolling, the advertising revenue from the fabmetheus download page will be added to the demozendium revenue pool.
Any contributor can request a share of the revenue.
At the beginning, when revenues are small, contributors will simply be given a hundred dollar honorarium in alphabetical order. If revenues increase up to a thousand dollars a month, the honorarium will be increased accordingly.
If revenues ever increase to more than a thousand a month, contributors will get a portion of the revenue. The contributor can request the standard portion, or they can request the median of the vote of a randomly chosen jury. Anyone who is willing to serve on juries can only request the standard portion. For people on juries, they should award one share for a small contribution, three for a medium contribution and five for a major contribution. The standard portion will start at two shares, within a year of jury voting, the standard portion will be determined by the median vote of everyone who is not choosing to receive a share.
Viewpoints
When possible, content should be written from a neutral point of view.
When there is controversy, alternative viewpoints should be written, in which case there must be links to the rest of the viewpoints at the top of the page.
